What I did in February 2023
Apr. 10th, 2023 10:03 amI visited a few galleries including Orleans House Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, and the Serpentine North Gallery,
I saw photographs at Cromwell Place, saw the Elfin Oak and walked around Hyde Park.
I had a walk around Leyton and went to
verazea's birthday party.
I had a birthday celebration that involved going on a tour of hidden parts of Shepherd's Bush Tube station, going up the chimney at Battersea Power Station (we popped out of the top of the chimney and there were good views!), and drinking a cocktail out of a lightbulb at Control Room B. It was lovely to see people. Thanks for coming all!
I had a few days off work for my birthday. It was a very cold day when my mum and I visited Margate and walked by the sea and saw the Banksy.
On my birthday itself, my mum and I went to Folkestone and visited the museum and hid from the rain under the arches and had coffee and cake in Steep Street.
I watched an online talk about nuclear power stations and their control software as part of Infrastructure Club.
I walked around Woolwich for London Ingress First Saturday.
For Ingress Second Sunday, I did a banner in Lewisham.
I visited postboxes with all the different cyphers and took selfies at each to win a competition at work.
I went to some more metal classes and learnt how to fold metal, cut metal (using 3 different machines including a plasma cutter!), join metal by spot welding and by soldering, how to smooth metal, and how to punch holes in metal. I also learnt how to use an electric saw and electric drill with wood. I made an automaton with eyebrows that raise when you turn a handle.
