Lowther Mausoleum
'We were sitting on a dilapidated seventeenth-century tomb in the late afternoon at the old burying ground in Arkham and speculating about the unnameable.'

Arkham is also in the writings of Lovecraft, must be a place in the states too. That is extremely beautiful, we don't have that here, the oldest soldier buried here I think is 1880 something, Civil War!

Yes, his Arkham's in Massachusetts. There's no real town called that, Lovecraft just made it up, but other writers have used it too. Also, it's quite probably why you get things like Arkham Asylum in Batman.

Thanks! That one was taken with 5 exposures of the same scene, then I combined them together using Photomatix into a HDR image.

I'm still only learning how to use it really. Check out some of the great photos on Flickr: HDR (http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=hdr&s=int).

Here is a tutorial if you're interested: How to create high dynamic range images (http://www.popphoto.com/howto/3038/how-to-create-high-dynamic-range-images.html).
