Arkham is also in the writings of Lovecraft, must be a place in the states too. That is extremely beautiful, we don't have that here, the oldest soldier buried here I think is 1880 something, Civil War!
Yes, his Arkham's in Massachusetts. There's no real town called that, Lovecraft just made it up, but other writers have used it too. Also, it's quite probably why you get things like Arkham Asylum in Batman.
